Quark XPress Files
Although our preferred file format is PDF, we are also capable of accepting Quark XPress files.
- Use the “Collect for Output” option to ensure we are not missing any parts of your file!
Open your file.
Choose File -> Collect for Output…
Quark will ask you where you want to save the collected files. I had to create a new folder, which I named the same as my document. Make sure that the options for Layout, Linked Pictures, and Printer Fonts are all checked.
After you select “Save,” a warning message will appear, alerting you about the licensing and restrictions on copying fonts. Click OK.
Quark will then copy everything used in your document (including fonts and graphics) in the folder you created. Compress the folder and send it to us. Compressed formats that we can use are: ZIP, StuffIt, tar.gz, or tar.bz.
